Free Horses!

 

Well, almost.

The Longacres Riding Camp in East Aurora, New York loans out all our horses every fall to good homes who care for and use the horses as their own. The horses are returned to Longacres at the end of the following May. There is no charge for this “free lease”, though the borrower is responsible for the costs of caring for the horse and for transporting the horse home from Longacres and back to Longacres the following May.

 

These are nice horses. Longacres collects and trains this string of horses year after year and the fact that we do not buy and sell each season has allowed us to build up an impressive strong of horses, nearly all of which are entered in shows every week during the summer camp season.

Please take a few moments to go online and introduce yourself to this impressive string of horses! They are not what you would expect at a summer camp. This is a horse show oriented summer riding program that takes only nine students at a time and keeps over 20 horses so the students do nothing but ride.
